Closure, Detour for Major I-4 Ramp Scheduled August 14, 15, and 18

Motorists should be advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing nightly closures of the entrance ramp to westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) from Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) on August 14,15, and 18. The closures will begin as early as 10:00 p.m. each night and are expected to reopen by 6:00 a.m.

These closures are necessary for crews to set beams on new bridge structures in the area as part of the improvements to the I-4 and Sand Lake Road interchange. read more…

I-4 Eastbound Closure, Detour Overnight August 7 in Orlando

Motorists should be advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing a nighttime road closure of the eastbound I-4 roadway under the bridge to the eastbound Beachline Expressway (State Road (S.R.) 528) overnight on Wednesday, August 7.

Today, Florida Governor DeSantis provided updates on Tropical Storm Debby at the State Emergency Operations Center with Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) Executive Director Kevin Guthrie, FDOT Secretary Jared W. Perdue and Florida National Guard Major General John D. Haas.
